Come on with a bang, woo the audience with your dramatic deluges, play your tricks and be anyone you want; for here at Abhyudaya’24, we are giving you a platform to explore different styles of acting and create another person out of yourself. Get the stage all to yourself and witness a solo drama event like no other.

General Guidelines

1. There will be two rounds.
2. Obscene gestures or words will lead to immediate disqualification.
3. The event is open to all.
4. The language should be either English or Hindi. It can also be mime.
5. Use of props during the act is allowed.

Preliminary ROUND

• The themes will be given on 2nd December, 2024.
• The deadline of the submissions will be till 4th December, 2024.
• The results of the same will be shared on 5th Dec, 2024.
• The shortlisted participants must be there on 6th December, 2024 for the final round

Final ROUND

• This round will be conducted in offline mode.
• All the shortlisted participants will get the chance to perform live during this round. The theme for the same will be shared on the spot.
• The participants will be given 30 minutes each for preparation of the same.
• Lightning of candles, matchsticks, cigarettes or the use of any other hazardous item in the act is not allowed.
• The participants will present in front of the jury during the Final round and the time limit will be 3-6 minutes for each participant, exceeding the limit will lead to deduction in scores.
• The participants will be judged based on expressions, dialogue delivery, and adherence to the theme.

The organizing team reserves the right to change or modify the rules for this competition. Participants will be informed about any such change well in advance.
