This is for you if you share a passion for Hindi and are interested in the unfiltered exchange of voices and ideas.

Guidelines

• It is a Solo event.
• Pairs of For-Against will be made on the spot and at the Event Coordinators’ discretion.
• Multiple Entries from the same College / University are allowed.

Rules

• All debates will be in Hindi language only.
• The Round will be held on 7th December 2024.
• The Topic will be shared by 6th December 2024.
• Participants will not be allowed to read any written content.
• The Time limit of the speeches must be strictly adhered to.
• Rebutting and Interjection will follow each speech for two minutes, and it will be moderated by a Chairperson/Jury.
• Violation of any rule, using slang, etc. will lead to disqualification from subsequent rounds
• In case of any dispute, the decision of the judges/ faculty or coordinators will be final.

Note: The first speeches are for defining and interpreting the motion, developing the case for the proposition, and arguing against the proposition. The “Rebuttal and conclusion” round will be a claim or to prove that evidence or accusation(s) put forward by the opponent is false, followed by concluding remarks.
