Rhythm is omnipresent and Dance is a rite that celebrates the harmony of life that springs from every inch of the universe. The universality in the language of dance ensnares each soul into a trance of blissful nirvana, let your body sink in the vortex of rhythm and let it weave the tapestry of life with your gestures, stance, swag, mudra and expression. Moves Of Fate – Group Dance

Dance with your group and augment your elegance and artistry by showcasing coordinated group choreography, from contemporary sequences to hip-hop beats to the grace of any other dance form. We organized this event to bring the participant teams’ esprit de corps to the test.”

Registration Rules

• It is a Team Event.
• Multiple Entries from one College/University are allowed.
• Prior Registration is compulsory for all the teams.

General Rules

• There are 2 rounds in this event: Round 1 (Showcase Round), Round 2 (Style Swap Round)
• Any form of dance style is allowed (like Bollywood, Hip-hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Salsa etc.) Folk, Classical and Semi-Classical dance forms are allowed.
• Theme selection is open to all, Violation of the rules or any indecent behaviour may result in immediate disqualification.
• Song selection is open to all. The song must be submitted in MP3 form two days before the event in a drive link that the event coordinators will circulate. Late submissions will not be accepted.
• Team size may vary from 8 to 25. On stage, the limit is 15, except for the third round.
• Only 2 volunteers per team are allowed, excluding the team instructor/ non-performer choreographer (if any):

• The decisions of the judges will be final and binding in all rounds.
• Exceeding the limit of participants and volunteers will lead to disqualification.

Round 1: Showcase Round

1) Selected teams from the Round will perform the same extended performance as performed in the Elimination Round which will take place in Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur campus (Offline mode) on 7th December 2024.

2) Time limit: 6-8 minutes.

3) The usage of props is allowed.

4) Teams will not be allowed to change their tracks or team members.

5) All the selected teams will be allotted a green room in this round.

6) Time will be allotted for stage marking, depending upon the circumstances. College and event authorities can’t be questioned or be held accountable for the same.

7) Voiceovers and fusion music are allowed.

8) Vulgarity and obscenity at any point are strictly prohibited. It can lead to immediate disqualification. Songs are to be chosen accordingly.

Round 2 (Final Round): Style Swap Round

1) Songs (of 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes each) will be assigned to each team 20 minutes before the final round.

2) Props will be allocated, which will have to be used by teams creatively.

3) Teams should perform the dance form according to the Judge’s wish (Dance Forms: Jazz, Bollywood, Hip-Hop and Contemporary) and may change it anytime (by announcing or using placards) throughout the song.

4) Total number of participants performing in this round will be 8 members of the team.

5) Extra points shall be rewarded for creativity and spontaneity
