General Guidelines

• Team Size:
  • Minimum: 3
  • Maximum: 6
• A violation or improper behaviour of any type will result in automatic disqualification.

Rounds

Round 1: Cricket Quiz

• The preliminary part of the first round will feature a cricket quiz in the form of a questionnaire.
• 20 questions: 1 mark for the correct answer, 0.25 deduction for the wrong answer.
• Time Limit: 10 minutes.

Round 2: JPL Player Auction

• The JPL Player Auction will feature IPL players.
• Players are selected based on their performance in the IPL.
• Each team can spend up to 100 crores during the auction.
  • Failure to spend within the limit will lead to disqualification.
• Each player has attributes ranging from 0-100 (0 being worst, 100 being best), based on their IPL statistics. The detailed performance of each player will be displayed on the projector.
• Squad Requirements:
  • Each team must have 11 players:
    • Minimum 4 batsmen
    • Minimum 4 bowlers
    • Minimum 2 all-rounders
    • 1 wicketkeeper
  • Failure to meet these requirements will result in disqualification.
• Unsold Players: Unsold players will not be allowed to re-enter the auction.
• Teams should wait to interject when two teams are bidding for the same player until one of them gives up.
• The team with the highest worth after the auction will be deemed the winner, adding the value of each player purchased.
• No extra points will be awarded for leftover money in the purse.
