General Guidelines

• Team Event: Each team should consist of 3-4 members.
• Song Selection: Only songs from Hindustani classical music, Bollywood movies, Punjabi songs, and famous albums are allowed.
• No Repeats: Songs cannot be repeated during the game.
• Judge’s Decision: The decision of the judge(s) is final and binding on all teams.
• Timeliness: Teams must adhere to the time limits for each round.
• Event Date: 6th December 2024

Round 1: Screening/Elimination Round

• Each team will be given the name of an actor, and they must list as many songs as possible featuring that actor within the allotted time.
• Unique Actor Names: Each team will receive a different actor.
• Time Limit: 1 minute.
• Selection: The top 8 teams with the highest number of correct songs will proceed to the next round.
• Song Title Requirement: Only the proper name of the song will be accepted.

Round 2: The Final Round

• This will follow the traditional Antakshari
• Starting Song: The first song must start with the letter “M.”
• Flow of Songs: Each team’s song must begin with the last letter of the previous team’s song.
• Time Limit: 15 seconds to think of and start a song; teams that fail to sing within this time will be eliminated.
• Singing Requirement: At least the first verse of the song must be sung.
• Originality: Only the original song version is permitted; no mashups, humming, or modified versions.

Judgment Criteria

Teams will be eliminated on the spot based on their adherence to rules and overall performance.

Final Decision: The decisions made by the judges will be final and binding on all teams.
